Dear Patients,
We recognise that due to a combination of Bank holidays and long-term staff shortages & staff sickness, the wait for a routine appointment is now sometimes more than 8 weeks. Please be assured we recognise this is far from ideal and are doing everything we can to try and manage this. We are currently trying to add extra locum clinics wherever locums are available to ease the wait.
Therefore, new clinics may be added over the next few days. If you have already booked a routine appointment which is more than a month away, you can call us back to see if new appointments have been opened up. Clearly the capacity to offer this is based on availability of appropriate clinicians so unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you will be able to get an earlier appointment.
